In this discussion program, Shelly Jyoti and Lisa Trivedi talk about the significance of indigo in textile arts. Jyoti and Trivedi are long-time collaborators. Both have known each for years and have conducted extensive research on textile arts and indigo.

Jyoti is an acclaimed textile artist from India, whose works have been exhibited all over the world. Currently, her works are getting exhibited at South Asia Institute. Trivedi is a cultural and social historian of modern South Asia, who received her doctorate from the University of California at Davis. Currently, she's a professor of history at Hamilton College.
